1The vehicle exchange privilege is valid beginning August 1, 2018 as part of the Hyundai BuyRight™ promise. Customers who have purchased their vehicle prior to August 1, 2018 will not be eligible to participate in the program. Customers who have satisfied all terms and conditions to exchange their vehicle for another Hyundai brand vehicle within five (5) business days after delivery with up to a maximum of 750 kilometres ("km") on the odometer. A business day shall be defined as Monday to Friday. The first day shall be deemed to be the first business day after the vehicle delivery date. This program is subject to revision or cancellation at any time at HACC’s discretion. Vehicles must be purchased or financed from an authorized HACC dealership and take delivery of the eligible vehicle. This program is included on all new Hyundai brand vehicles with the exception of following: models with government rebates; national and dealer fleet sales; all leased vehicles; courtesy cars, service loan cars; vehicles which were previously returned through this program; exchange vehicle which is the same model and trim; businesses, corporations, partnerships, dealer operating companies or related companies are not eligible customers. Applicable to new vehicles and vehicles registered as demos provided they have 100 km or less on the odometer at the time of delivery. This program can only be offered on finance or cash retail transactions. Exchange vehicle must be different model, trim. Only natural persons (i.e. individuals) are eligible customers.

4All requests for a payment deferral must be made directly to the applicable loan provider. Subject to approval by loan provider at the time of request. Borrower must be in good standing at all times under the financing contract and must meet all other loan provider terms and conditions to be eligible for the payment vacation. Maximum eligible loan term is 96 months, but this may vary depending on loan provider's requirements. Borrower will be eligible to defer the equivalent of one (1) monthly payment (defined as 1 monthly, 2 bi-weekly or 4 weekly payments) per twelve month period during the term of the loan, up to a maximum of five (5) deferrals over the entire term of the loan (subject to loan provider's approval in each case). Interest will be charged on each deferred payment at the annual interest rate under the financing contract and such interest and each deferred payment must be paid over the term of the financing contract which will be extended accordingly. All other terms under the financing contract remain in effect and all other payments thereunder must be paid when due. Hyundai Auto Canada Corp has no control over availability, and eligibility requirements for, the payment vacation program as these are determined exclusively by the applicable loan provider. Hyundai Auto Canada Corp is not responsible for, has no obligations in respect of, and shall in no case be liable in the event that a loan provider cancels or amends the payment vacation program and/or if a lender determines that a borrower is not eligible to defer payments under the financing contract. Borrower is responsible for all additional interest and/or fees due to loan provider when requesting a payment deferral. Some specific restrictions may apply based on loan provider's policies, including of the timing of any deferred payment and request therefor, and the remaining amount of loan. Each loan provider reserves the right to change the eligibility requirements or any other aspect of the payment vacation program or to cancel the program at any time in its sole and absolute discretion.

Customer / Exchange Conditions:
This program is only applicable to the original purchaser of the vehicle and is non-transferable. The vehicle must be continuously registered and insured by the original purchaser at the time of return. Customer must provide evidence of insurance and registration of vehicle under the customer’s name during the time of ownership. Vehicles are eligible to be returned with a maximum of 750 kilometres on the odometer (e.g. if a customer took delivery of the vehicle with 50 kms already on the odometer, the customer can drive up to a maximum of 700 kms to remain eligible for the program). Vehicle cannot have been modified in any way from original, including the addition of aftermarket accessories which were not previously installed at time of delivery. The vehicle must be returned in saleable, as-new condition, with no damage. Customers are responsible for any costs associated in ensuring that the vehicle is in saleable new car condition and any damages. Vehicles must be returned with a full tank of fuel. Dealer retains discretion to apply a fuel charge if the returned vehicle fuel tank is less than full. The vehicle must be returned to the dealership where the customer originally took delivery. The vehicle has not been in an accident since the delivery date. Assessment of returned vehicle condition is at the discretion of the dealer, including determination if the vehicle had been involved in an accident. All installed vehicle accessories (if applicable) must be intact and in as-new condition. Customers cannot return their vehicle in order to purchase the same vehicle. Customers will only qualify for retail incentives that were in place at the time of sale for their exchanged vehicle. Any incentive introduced after original delivery date shall not be applicable. Customers are not guaranteed a credit approval on the new vehicle. If the customer is not approved for financing they must retain the original vehicle or choose another vehicle in which an approval can be obtained. Exchanges can only be completed with the same financial partner (e.g. a Lender A finance customer cannot exchange vehicles and move to Lender B financing). Only one (1) vehicle can be returned per household through the program. Only one (1) return per eligible VIN. Any additional insurance, PPSA, or registration costs, charges, fees or expenses that arise from the customer initiating the program shall be the responsibility of the customer and the dealer. HACC shall not be responsible for such costs, exchange fees or expenses. New vehicle contract must be of the same sale type and term of returning vehicle. The returning vehicle must be in dealer possession within 5 days of original delivery. If the new vehicle is not immediately available for delivery, dealer may provide a loaner at their discretion. HACC and dealers are in no way obliged to provide the customer a loaner vehicle to use during any wait time for new vehicle delivery.
Exclusions are as follows: Vehicles which have been used for off-road or street performance purposes will be disqualified from the program at the dealer’s discretion; vehicles with liens (other than the original financing used to purchase the vehicle); vehicles previously returned under the 5 Day vehicle exchange program; dealership employees/personnel are not eligible; customers who have previously returned a vehicle under the program within the past 6 months; customers who cannot provide evidence of active insurance/registration during the time of ownership.
Parts, Accessories and F&I Products
HPP Extended warranties will be cancelled/transferred at no charge to the customer. Where reasonable and applicable, all additional products included in the returning vehicle contract will be transferred to the new vehicle contract. This includes but is not limited to vehicle accessories, warranty and insurance products. Customers cannot effectively “return” these products under this program. Customer is responsible for any cost associated with the transfer of accessories to the new vehicle (if applicable). Any non-removable installed accessories (such as paint sealant, fabric/leather protectant, 3M Body protection etc.) will be included on the new vehicle contract where applicable and reasonable. (Customers cannot effectively “return” these items as part of the program). Any non-removable installed accessories (such as paint sealant, fabric/leather protectant, 3M Body protection etc.) must be repurchased by the customer on the new vehicle. Any insurance related costs and/or expenses are the sole responsibility of the customer. Any accessories installed or added on to the vehicle after taking delivery will be the responsibility of the customer. Dealer may use discretion in accepting return of vehicle under the program.
