In addition to the unmistakable LED lighting and architecture, the all-new Sonata features performance-led design cues that lead the way as the first iteration of our new design language. Elevated athletic aesthetics that are paired with 1.6L Turbo models include sport-designed front and rear bumpers, a glossy black mesh front grille and a chrome twin-tip exhaust outlet.

LED daytime running lights
The signature design of the LED daytime running lights makes a striking yet sophisticated statement. Our engineers created an unmistakable lighting signature unique to the Sonata that incorporates the very latest in lighting technology. Formed to the Sonata’s body, the hidden LED daytime running lights appear chrome when turned off, and then dramatically brighten when turned on.
LED tail lights

Step inside and access the available personalized profile settings for up to three drivers. Experience ultimate convenience with driver seat and side mirror positions, multimedia, drive mode, Head-Up Display settings and more, all stored and accessible at the press of a button. With the available Head-Up Display, you can keep your attention focused on the road with key information like your speed, the speed limit, notification of whether there is a vehicle in either of your blind spots and navigation commands all projected within your line of sight. Finally, the all-new Sonata features the segment’s first Remote Smart Parking Assist system. Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian, Cyclist and Junction-turning Detection
This standard safety feature is designed to detect a vehicle or pedestrian and warn the driver of a potential frontal collision. If the driver does not react to avoid impact, the system will apply emergency braking under certain conditions. The all-new Sonata also features Hyundai’s-first junction-turning component incorporated into the system, to help make left turns at an intersection safer.
Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keeping Assist
Start drifting outside of your lane without signalling and this standard system is designed to inform you with audible and visual cues. Lane Keeping Assist will provide further feedback and help steer you back within your lane markings if no action is taken.
Driver Attention Warning
Designed to detect the onset of driver fatigue, this standard system will monitor driver input and issue a visual and audible alert if fatigue is sensed, suggesting a break.
